About The Bead Gallery and Staff
The Bead Gallery is an independent store located in Buffalo, NY. We have been serving the Western New York area since 1992.
We are inspired by the world around us, by each other and by our customers. The challenge of creating something beautiful from a handful of beads and thread excites us. We believe in building a strong beading community. We hold several classes and workshops each week, and host a local beading group's semimonthly meetings. There's always something going on at The Bead Gallery!
We support, with both our presence and our donations, several community events and organizations. Some of which include Roswell Ride for the Cure, Gowns 4 Proms, Pink on the Links, UB Scholarship Foundation and several local schools and neighborhood causes.
We’ll host a birthday party, a Girl Scout troop, a social get together or a special needs group, all ages welcome.
We encourage you to drop by if you're near the area. We have tools and a space to work, allowing you the freedom to create your own beaded beauty. We want our customers to be satisfied and as excited about beading as we are.

We each have our own styles and techniques that come together and form a dynamic team. Click here to view some of the staff's creations.
- Abby likes working with delicate chain to create every day jewelry.
- Lauren enjoys working with natural materials such as leather and stones to create a tribal and bohemian look.
- Toni loves to explore a variety of mediums to create many types of jewelry.
- Sue is the owner and on the rare chance she is not in the store she makes beautiful one of a kind lamp work beads.
- Kevin brings a masculine element to our group and likes to keep his leather and wire work very organic.
- Joanna is peyote crazy and likes to experiment with beading patterns.
- Marie prefers the delicate to the dramatic and likes to miniaturize any pattern she can get her hands on.
- Ellie prefers the dramatic to the delicate, creating large and intricate patterns to challenge our customers.
Shipping time – Orders will be processed and mailed out on the next business day, provided that the product ordered is in stock. Orders will not be processed on Saturday or Sunday and any holiday that the Post Office is closed.
We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Any shipping or transit time we offer by our providers is an estimate. We suggest you order your products in a timely fashion to avoid any delays in shipping or product availability.
All orders will be sent using the United States Post Office (USPS). An email will be sent to you, within 24 hours of the order being mailed, with a tracking number to ensure safe arrival of your order.
If an order does not arrive, please contact us within 15 days of confirmation of shipping. A replacement order may be sent, once you have verified your address.
All returns must be submitted within 10 days of receipt. Please call for return authorization, before shipping the order back. After 10 days a restocking fee of 15% will be applied. After 30 days, returns will not be accepted. Please return items with the invoice. All returned merchandise must be returned in the original condition it was sent. Money will be refunded to the credit card used at purchase. Shipping is nonrefundable.
We will accept returns of beads at the original order weight they were sent in. We will not accept returns of finished pieces or any merchandise sold at a clearance price.

Any damaged or missing products must be claimed within 24 hours of receiving the order.
Since we are not perfect, if we happen to make a mistake on your order, please call us within 10 business days of receiving the receipt, and we will send out an order to correct the mistake.
Our store will automatically charge the applicable sales tax on all orders to be delivered in the same state. For orders shipped to other states, sales tax and any other tax for that state will be applicable.
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make a purchase. Please ensure that your correct billing and mailing information is provided as well as a phone number. Failure to do so can result in a delay of receiving your order. Your credit card will be charged at the time of purchase.
Foreign or Canadian credit cards may be subject to service fees from your bank. Exchange rates may also be assessed by your bank. We recommend checking with your bank prior to placing an order.
We keep your personal information private and secure. We ask when you make a purchase to provide your name, address, credit card information, phone number, and email. We use this information to process your order and update you about your order. Our servers protect your information using advanced encryption techniques and firewall technology. You may receive emails from us regarding your purchase or to notify you of any promotions we may be running.
